Date Revealed for 'True Blood' Season 2 Premiere

While HBO remains vague about the premiere date of 'True Blood' season two, Sookie Stackhouse book series author gives out June 14.

A date had popped out, suggesting the return of vampire flick "True Blood" on TV. While HBO had set the premiere target to be in either June or July, a more particular date, June 14 has been thrown out as the airing of first episode in the second season.

Allegedly, Charlaine Harris, author of the book the series is based upon, has mentioned the date on her website in a post dated March 9. She was informed by the assistant of the show's creator Alan Ball. Yet, the date remains unofficial until HBO releases a statement. "In terms of a premiere date - we actually don't have a date set in stone, but it is looking like mid-June," the network responded.

The production itself has been taking place since January this year. Alan Ball dished out on the second season, "There are new romances for Tara, Jason and Sara. Bill and Sookie have a lot of issues to sort out - including having made a new teenage vampire that's living in their house. Bill and Sookie also go to Dallas to find one of their own who has gone missing."

On another dose of "True Blood" news, Valerie Cruz ("Dexter") has been cast as an elegant Hispanic vampire named Isabel.

A new relationship for Tara though would have to mean that guy she met at the maenad's house.  The dude with the guitar and nice smile.  Living Dead In Dallas is the one with the sex club at the end and I am SO curious to find out if thats going to stay in.  I mean, after all the sexiness and screwing behind garbage cans in the first season, a sex club should be a cake walk.

No way, she was still living in Gran's house at the end.  Going over to Bill's alot is what she did in the books.  Cripes, I hope things don't change that much.  Although, I suspect they will.

Although, maybe that means that Bill will get a better reputation and won't have to rape Sookie in season three.  Cause we all know thats where it started to go down hill with him.  *sigh*

well they just can't make a 12 episode season out of a little book like LDID, same as with DUD, so I guess they have to keep expanding the storylines they invented in season one.

Is Sara the vamp that Bill made last season by any chance?   

I have no clue who Isobel is supposed to be, perhaps we need to fit a reread in before June
